Skeptical About Employer-Sponsored Retirement Plans?

A 2015 Forbes study concluded that over two-thirds of working age people did not participate in an employer-sponsored retirement plan. While plans such as the 401(k) have become invaluable to helping millions of workers save for retirement, clearly there are factors at play that are preventing workers from enrolling.

Moreover, there can be times when your fund loses money, like in a bullish market run; however, one needs to have the risk appetite to absorb those fluctuations and the confidence that the fund will meet the retirement objective in the long run.
